About Michelle C. Roberts

Michelle C. Roberts is an inspired photographer whose work evokes love of life, nature, and visual art. Born in Juneau, Alaska into a Coast Guard family, she has had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United States and abroad. Her father was the first to introduce her to photography. Taking photography classes in high school led to teaching elementary school children the elements of visual art and photography in an after school program. Michelle further nurtured her passion in college and received a B.S. in Visual Communications with an emphasis in Photography from Towson University. After graduating, she worked at one of the country's premier photo labs, Chrome, in Washington DC. There she had the opportunity to aid many of the nations leading photographers, artists, designers and art professionals in making editing, printing and creative decisions. Upon her departure she assisted many of the photographers she had met at the lab. In addition, she managed the studio of one of the areas top architectural photographers/visual artists. After a few years Michelle decided it was time to focus solely on her own photography.
